Care Instructions

We have been making leather goods since 1978. A Baron leather or canvas product is pre-treated and fit for immediate use. To prolong the using of your product, we recommend you to condition, treat and clean the leather and canvas according to the following advices.

Please be aware that no bag is capable of carrying too much regardless of the size of the bag. Carrying too much or too heavy will damage the shape and seams of the bag! Do also remember to never lift your bag by using the shoulder strap.

HOW TO CONDITION AND CLEAN

LEATHER

The leather must be cared for since the material gets affected, like the human skin, by sunlight, dirt and heat.

Think of conditioning as a moisturizer for the leather, over time all leathers will dry out. Dab a dollop of neutral leather conditioner on a white cotton cloth and rub gently all over the product.

This can be done frequently, one time each second month, or less often if you wish to create a natural patina. Remember to always treat the entire leather surface but careful to avoid any non-leather fabric and trim.

As soon as you notice a stain on the leather – remove as quickly as possible and treat as mentioned above.

CANVAS

The cotton canvas will age as a result of the usage of the bag. In a long-term you will experience that the color and surface will fade. The canvas is protected with a rubber backing which protects the inside of the bag from rain and dirt and also facilitates cleaning.
